Welcome to InRank ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application InRank (the "App") and visit our website https://www.inrank.app/.

2.1 Personal Information

We collect only the minimum information required to operate the App:

  • Email address (used solely for authentication and account access when you choose to sign in)
  • User preferences such as alarms and favorites, required for core app functionality
  • Device identifiers (used by our subscription service provider RevenueCat to manage your subscription status; we do not use these for tracking or analytics)

Note: You can use the App without creating an account. When you sign in, your preferences from anonymous usage are automatically transferred to your account.

2.2 Anonymous Usage

The App can be used without creating an account. When you use the App anonymously:

  • We create a temporary anonymous account for app functionality
  • Your preferences (favorites, alarms) are stored locally and associated with this anonymous account
  • When you later sign in with Google, Apple, or email, your preferences are automatically transferred to your authenticated account
  • Anonymous account data is permanently deleted when you sign in, as it merges with your authenticated account

2.3 Financial Data

We do not collect or store financial account information, trading credentials, or payment data. InRank provides market analysis and educational insights only.

2.4 Diagnostic Data

We automatically collect limited technical data such as crash reports and basic diagnostics to improve app stability and performance.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Authenticate users and manage accounts (including anonymous usage)
  • Store user preferences and alarms
  • Maintain app functionality and stability
  • Send essential service-related notifications and system updates
  • Link anonymous accounts to authenticated accounts when you sign in
  • Manage subscriptions through our third-party subscription service provider

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal data. Limited data may be shared only with service providers required to operate the App:

  • Firebase (Google) - For authentication and cloud services
  • RevenueCat - For subscription management (processes device identifiers and subscription status)
  • Notification delivery services - For sending push notifications

These service providers are contractually bound to handle your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.

5. Analytics

InRank does not use analytics, tracking technologies, cookies, advertising identifiers, or IP address collection. We do not collect or use location data. Device identifiers are used solely by our subscription service provider (RevenueCat) for subscription management and are not used for tracking or analytics purposes.

6. Data Retention

Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the Service or until the user deletes their account.

You may access, update, or delete your account and associated data at any time from within the App or by contacting us at info@inrank.app.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
